Melissa Gross-Arnold nominated to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Board

Melissa Gross-Arnold has recently been nominated to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Board for the Clay County Chamber of Commerce. The three-year term appointment will be effective October 1, 2009. The Economic Development Advisory Board serves as the economic development arm of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce and takes a leading role with community planning efforts to define and promote existing and future development and redevelopment of Clay County. The principle purpose of the Economic Development Advisory Board is to create a favorable business climate and improve the economic health of the community through the creation of quality jobs, increased capital investments and increased flow of new dollars into Clay County by developing, executing, and implementing programs to retain, attract, and grow value-added businesses in Clay County. Melissa Gross-Arnold is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in city, county and local government law. She represents both public and private sector clients in consumptive use, stormwater, wastewater and submerged lands. Her practice also includes representation of clients before local, regional and state governments related to land development entitlements, transactional due diligence, easement and access matters. Ms. Gross-Arnold is also well-versed in laws related to private and public schools, including charter schools, as well as the Government in the Sunshine and Public Records Laws.
