  • Works with clients and consultants to resolve various land use and regulatory issues, including environmental permitting, water use and compliance matters.
  • Represents clients before local, state, and federal agencies regarding environmental issues.
  • Assists clients in protecting rights to intellectual property.

Prior Professional Experience

  • Prior to joining Lewis, Longman & Walker, Mr. Jackson worked as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the Southwest Florida Water Management District where he assisted the District’s Sarasota Service Office with complex environmental resource and water use permitting issues.  He also handled compliance issues for the District arising out of Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
  • Mr. Jackson also worked as a staff attorney for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit advising the circuit and county courts on various matters.
  • Prior to going to law school, Mr. Jackson worked as a civil engineer in Bradenton, Florida.
