Administrative, Ports, Airports & Transportation, Land Use, Water, Marine & Coastal Construction, Special Assets Assessment Services, Local Government & Special Districts and Sustainability 
  • Assists clients in airport land use related matters including compliance, land use, environmental and regulatory permitting.

  • Represents clients on federal and state rulemaking and legislative issues involving wetlands, water quality and water supply.

  • Represents special districts, municipalities and counties on environmental and water supply issues including implementation and environmental restoration projects.

  • Counsels clients regarding sustainability law and policy.

  • Advises clients through all phases of development of regional impact review, comprehensive planning, zoning, coastal zone issues and other local, state and federal land use approval processes from the application for such approvals through the defense and prosecution of administrative, local or federal litigation.

  • Represents clients throughout environmental and administrative permitting processes involving local, state and federal regulations and laws governing endangered species, coastal development, the consumption, management and storage of surface waters and dredging or filling of wetlands, including jurisdiction and permitting pursuant to the Clean Water Act.  Representation includes consultation regarding Endangered Species Act and NEPA compliance.  Ms. Baker successfully represents public and private clients with matters before the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the various Florida water management districts, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

  • Counsels clients concerning acquisition of special assets including all impacts on value created by zoning, environmental, regulatory and permitting factors applicable to the special asset.

  • Experience in civil and administrative litigation.
