Today’s mining industry faces many challenges. As the demand for mining products increases so do state, federal and local regulations and restrictions on new mines—and on the expansion of existing mines. We dig mining. We represent mining interests in court and before governmental agencies in an array of matters including state and federal environmental and natural resource permitting, as well as issues related to water use and impacts to surface and groundwater. Our representation of mining interests also includes local land use, zoning and development order approvals, as well as in matters relating to real estate, public lands, Native American law and operational and regulatory/compliance issues.
