West Palm Beach, Fla., August 20, 2024 – Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A., is excited to announce Nicholas R. Bixler has joined the firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Nicholas has served as both in-house, corporate counsel and outside litigation counsel for various companies in Florida and most recently as a regulatory compliance attorney. His experience includes providing legal analysis on business compliance risks and liaising with outside counsel on various legal and regulatory matters.

In the community, Nicholas is dedicated to advancing housing accessibility and economic development. As a member of the Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development’s Commission on Affordable Housing, he plays a crucial role in addressing housing needs and promoting sustainable development within the county. Additionally, his participation as a member of the City of West Palm Beach Affordable Housing Advisory Committee underscores his commitment to enhancing affordable housing solutions and ensuring that community needs are met effectively. Nicholas also serves as Treasurer and Secretary at Connect West Palm Beach, a nonprofit organization focused on creating more walkable neighborhoods, bikeable streets, and quality public places. He plays a key role in managing the organization’s finances and overseeing its operational activities, helping to foster livable streets, diverse housing, and mixed-use neighborhoods. Nicholas also supports the arts and cultural enrichment by serving on the Board of Directors for New City Players, a nonprofit professional theatre company in South Florida.
