About Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A.
ABOUT US
In 1994, a group of attorneys—unsatisfied with the traditional law firm model—set out to build something different. They envisioned a firm where people came first, where collaboration, respect, and purpose defined the culture. They wanted a place where attorneys and staff were genuinely excited to come to work each day. That vision became Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A., founded in Tallahassee and West Palm Beach, and expanding to Jacksonville, St. Petersburg and Tampa. From day one, LLW was built on a core belief that great work starts with a great workplace—and that’s still true today.
Today, LLW is known as Florida’s law firm for environmental, land use, and government law. Our attorneys bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives that allow us to think creatively and work strategically. With a unique blend of legal, agency, technical, and planning experience, we deliver insights that others may overlook. We see solutions that others don’t see. When you hire us, you benefit from the collective experience of all LLW attorneys.
LLW helps shape Florida’s future through policy influence, legal innovation, sustainable land development, and a deep commitment to cultivating the next generation of legal leaders.
In 2025, LLW was named one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend Magazine, ranking second among 45 mid-sized companies statewide. LLW is one of only two law firms in Florida to earn a top-tier Band 1 ranking in Environmental Law from Chambers and Partners.
