Ms. Petrick is Florida Bar board certified as a specialist in City, County and Local Government Law. Her practice focuses on litigation. She has experience with both bench and jury trial work in federal and state court, and before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, and handling state and federal appeals. She also provides pre-suit legal advice on a broad range of matters, including zoning and comprehensive planning issues, environmental, aviation and utility matters. She represents clients on a wide variety of land use, administrative, regulatory, construction and contractual matters in state and federal court and administrative forums.

Representative Court Decisions
Mizner Trail Golf Club Ltd. v. Palm Beach County, 16 So. 3d 331 (Fla. 4th DCA 2006), Ms. Petrick successfully defended Palm Beach County against a $65 million inverse condemnation claim relating to a golf course conversion application at trial and on appeal.
Flagler Center Properties, LLP v. Florida Department of Environmental Protection, 49 So. 3d 1280 (Fla. 4th DCA 2010), Ms. Petrick successfully defended Palm Beach County's environmental resource permit for the South Cove environmental restoration project, at hearing and on appeal.
Dascott v. Palm Beach County, 988 So. 2d 47 (Fla. 4th DCA 2008), Ms. Petrick successfully argued that no claims for monetary damages can be maintained for Sunshine Law violations.
Westgate Tabernacle, Inc., v. Palm Beach County, 14 So.3d 1027 (Fla. 4th DCA 2009), Ms. Petrick obtained a defense jury verdict for the County, which was later affirmed in the cited appellate case, in a religious land use case brought against the County under the Religious Freed Restoration Act ("RFRA") and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalize Persons Act ("RLUIPA").
