What does a Community Redevelopment Agency do?
Video Transcript
CRAs are directed by their board and they undertake a series of projects to improve the community redevelopment area. To relieve the unhealthy conditions or economic distress that caused that area to be designated as slum or plight in the first place. Typical projects include street-scapes, parking improvements, façade improvements, working with developers to bring in new business, really they're empowered to do a whole range of things so long as it's in furtherance of the CRA plan.
