May 26, 2022 – Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A. attorney Kathryn Rossmell received the Young Professional of the Year Award from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches at the Chamber’s Business Awards ceremony this morning in West Palm Beach. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their business and professional goals, and their respective local communities.

Kathryn’s practice focuses on land use, environmental, local government and natural resources law. She has earned many awards and recognitions, including being named a finalist of the Chamber’s ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award last year. She is a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers, a Junior Associate Honoree by the South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine, and a Top Lawyer by Palm Beach Illustrated Magazine. She was awarded the President’s Service Award from the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals and was named the 2020 Young Professional of the Year from FAU’s Pine Jog Environmental Education Center.

Kathryn is Co-Chair of the Moments Committee and a member of the Advancement Committee for Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County. She also serves as General Counsel to Leadership Palm Beach County and is a Board Member of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. Next year, she will serve as the Chair of the FAU Pine Jog Environmental Education Center Advisory Board.
