Should you hire a consultant or lawyer?

Depending on what environmental issues you find on your property during your due diligence period, you may need an environmental consultant. It may be needed to either clean up the property or it may be for future permitting of the property if, for instance, you have some wetland issues or species issues on the property or just plain for the development permit. As to whether or not a lawyer is needed, a lot of times a lawyer is needed if it's more complex issues or it's a large piece of property so that really will depend on the complexity of the situation.
