She previously served as Interim General Counsel and as Special Counsel to the General Counsel at the South Florida Water Management District, where she practiced administrative litigation involving environmental resource and water use permitting, and advised on state and federal water quality standards, including the Clean Water Act, the Everglades Forever Act, and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program.
