Most people are surprised to learn that there is often not a large additional cost in having a real estate attorney. As a closing agent, you make a percentage of title insurance. In residential closings, for example, oftentimes there is no additional cost. They do not charge attorneys fees on a closing. Plus, the mistakes that you can avoid by having a real estate attorney far outweigh any small additional cost associated with having representation.
