A community redevelopment agency, or a CRA, is an agency that's created specifically to help improve a specific area of land. That land is called a community redevelopment area. It's an area that's been determined to be slum or blight, just due to unsafe conditions or economic distress. This is the agency that's created to help improve that for that area and the surrounding community.
