The Florida law firm of Lewis, Longman and Walker is pleased to announce that Frederick L. Aschauer, Jr. has joined the firm’s Tallahassee office as Of Counsel.
Mr. Aschauer has extensive experience representing clients on matters related to litigation and environmental regulation. He previously served as General Counsel for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and prior to that as FDEP’s Director of the Division of Water Resource Management.
Fred has been involved in multiple cases before the Division of Administrative Hearings involving environmental resource permits, consumptive use permits, and water quality standards and has extensive experience litigating in various state courts throughout Florida.
His practice also involves Federal matters governed by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Freedom of Information Act, and the Clean Water Act.
