Ms. Jennison’s practice focuses on environmental, land use, water resources, tribal, development and and real estate law.

Areas of Practice

  • Represents government entities, special districts, municipalities, counties, private land owners and private sector clients in all aspects of state and federal environmental resource permitting, state water use permitting, mitigation banking and endangered species matters. This representation includes advising clients through all phases of local, state and federal approval processes from the application through administrative, local, or federal challenges that may ensue, including before the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the five Florida water management districts, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other agencies.

  • Represents Tribal entities on various water resource, wetlands, and land use and zoning issues and real estate issues, including development and permitting of mixed use development, due diligence, placing land into trust, and development of ordinances.

  • Represents public and private clients in all aspects of real estate, including environmental analysis and due diligence, drafting and analysis of easements, deeds, covenants and restrictions, and special assets evaluation from an environmental permitting perspective.

  • Represents clients in real estate negotiations, transactions and related matters and disputes, including representation as title agent, obtaining title commitments/insurance, review, analysis and removal of encumbrances, title objection letters through closing.

  • Represents government entities and private sector clients in all aspects of mitigation banking including permitting, due diligence, obtaining title commitments/insurance, review, analysis and removal of encumbrances including oil, gas and mineral rights and easements, enforcement and sale of mitigation banks.
